My mission through counseling is to provide a space to foster hope and inspire change. I believe in people's innate resilience to rise above their struggles.
Sometimes, we all need a little help.
I offer individual therapy to children (6+), teens, and adults. Many concerns come up in therapy, including depression, self-esteem, life transitions, and military family life.
Location
Meeting with clients via telehealth in Virginia, Maryland, Rhode Island, Texas, and Louisiana.
Why Telehealth?
I have been conducting therapy online since 2017, well before it became more common in a post-2020 world. Online therapy can be as effective and meaningful as in-person sessions, providing a flexible and accessible way to receive support.
Online Therapy Benefits:
Increased convenience
No commute means easier scheduling and flexibility.
Greater accessibility
Clients in remote areas or those with limited mobility can receive care without travel barriers.
Comfortable environment
Have your sessions in a familiar and private space. Pets are always welcome!
Unique to Telehealth:
State Regulations
Therapy is a state-regulated profession, meaning clients must be physically located in one of the states where I am licensed (VA, MD, RI, TX, LA) at the time of their session.
Technology Requirements
A stable internet connection and a device that supports video sessions are a must.
Transition Time
I encourage clients to schedule an extra 10–15 minutes after sessions to allow for personal reflection or a mental reset for a smoother transition back into their daily routine
